Child Permanence Report (CPR)

A Child's Permanence Report (CPR) is a crucial social work document in the UK adoption process, detailing a child's background, needs, and family history to help decision-makers decide if adoption is best and to provide vital information for matching with adopters and supporting the child's future identity. It's used from initial care planning through court applications and beyond, containing facts about the child, health information, family wishes, and analysis of the best long-term care plan, often called an Annex B report.
